- Up and ready for BazBus - long ride - chatted with woman from Denmark who was on our bus to Durban
- Arrived at Amphitheatre Backpackers - toured facility and ordered dinner - such a cool space - I was tired and took a nap which lasted 3 hours - opps
- Woke up and sat out looking at the mountains - found Heather - ran into friends from Bulungula - took a long walk along the dams, the hills, out to large trees, and back along the rivers - saw birds and insects and amazing views
- Back to the lodge - showered and went to dinner - dumplings and a glass of wine and a wonderful tomato soup - wandered upstairs and found a quiet reading spot - finished Ishmael Beah's Long Way Home: Memoirs of a Child Soldier - talked with Aussie friend for a while - bed

- Awake and ready for day tour to Lesotho
- border crossing - no Lesotho station
- school - principal
- walk up hill to cave paintings - lunch - history of Lesotho
- walk down chatting with mother/daughter from Trinidad
- beer closed - bus to traditional healer
- ride up to house for lunch of pap and spinach dish - bought local beer -
- long drive home - stopped for other guests transferring
- Made lovely salad for dinner - read and had drinks with German couple - bed late
