Turkey: Antalya

22.03.2014
  • arrive in Antalya - follow Chinese women - free shuttle into town - share a cab to Kalicha, Old Town - arrive at Sabah Pansion - rest for a short time - ask too many questions - 
  • out to rent motorbike - stopped a block away for lunch - fresh fish and a view of the sea and mountains - ran into couple with kid from Montreal - 
  • drive out to museum - antiquity!
  • drive out to Antalya Cultural Center - no place to buy tickets - 
  • drive back home for a short bit - drive out the coast - everything smells like flowers - lilac - waterfall - stopped at reastaurant on cliff - 
  • drove back - stopped at park - napped on grass - watched sunset - amazing mountains
  • Home - talked with Kevin - watched TV and rested - downstairs to hostel restaurant - live music - laughing - Perhaps in Turkish - tea and baklava
  • up to bed









































































































































































23.03.2014
  • wake up early and grab breakfast - drop off bike - back to connect with Patrick, Audrey, and 17 month old - got rental car - drive out to Termessos - nice drive up the mountain 36km out of town
  • enter park, drive up and park car - hike up hills - gymnasium - amphitheater - couple from Tennessee - 
  • drive down - doner - drive out to waterfall - walk under waterfall 
  • drive back down - make it to hostel just in time - meet up with friends - greeted and walked down to marina - boarded boat - Mehmet - sunset cruise - drive boat - beer - beautiful - back to port
  • sat and listened to music - walked up to Anise - great meal - fried cheese
  • walk to Hadrian's gate - bar just inside - great spanish guitar music - chatted with Amy for a long time and ate tons of popcorn - talked about the balance between adventure and keeping a family as I look toward a transition back home - keep remembering what an adventure my whole life is and what great adventures partnership, family, and community are - 
  • planning time at home with Amy - talk with Kevin - bed
